Find Data You Couldn't Find Before

At its core, Netrics software finds what you're looking for, even if there's a problem or inconsistency in the data, or in the way you frame your request to the system.

Your internal business users, customers, website visitors, and business partners need easy, accurate access to a huge array of data across your enterprise. And they expect your systems to deliver it -- even when there are inconsistencies between the way they request the information and the way it's stored in your databases.

Different organizations and operators may legitimately store data for the same entity differently. In isolation, there's no practical difference between "Mike" and "Michael" if the customer is happy with either name. But if a business user or system requests "Michael" and fails to come up with "Mike", your business has a problem, even if everyone did their job correctly.

Of course, sometimes somebody in the chain will make an error. And when that happens, the problems can be even tougher to solve. Users will ask for data the way it "should" be and will expect your business applications to find it.

Unfortunately, conventional computer software is great at exact matches, but can't tolerate any difference between the query and the target data. It's up to the user to figure out a variation that will match the data they need. Many won't have the skill or the patience to figure it out.

Netrics is different: the Matching Platform automatically perceives similarity much the way humans do, appropriately matching information that is similar, even if it isn't exact. You control how close you want the match to be. The system can present a number of closely related matches, or you can automate a decision process whereby Netrics learns from your own experts which matches are correct, and returns only those matches.

The bottom line: your business finds the data you need, with fewer mistakes and less need for manual intervention.
