Kalido Integrates Netrics to Boost Data Governance with Enhanced Data Matching Capabilities
Netrics Matching Platform™ provides new functionality for the Kalido® Information Engine™
Princeton, New Jersey, May 26, 2009 - Netrics, a technology innovator that makes imperfect data perfectly usable, today announced that it has signed an OEM agreement with Kalido to integrate the Netrics Matching PlatformTM with the Kalido® Information EngineTM, further enhancing Kalido's data matching capabilities.These new automated data matching functions add to Kalido's already substantial native data governance capabilities by improving rules management, candidate management, confidence calculation, process matching and survivorship management within Kalido. Specifically, the newly integrated Netrics matching technology enables Kalido customers to:
• De-dupe and match records from different sources to help build gold-copy master data, as well as automatically create and maintain those mapping relationships between source and gold-copy master data.
• Use hierarchy relationships as part of a match and support complex match definitions across fields.
• Use any master data element or nickname as a thesaurus and use those elements as part of a matching criterion.
